As with many Social History museums across the country the Museum’s collection relating to the impact of the First and Second World Wars on Richmond is an important one for our local community.
Notably, Richmond has been home to the Royal British Legion Poppy Factory since 1926 and was the site of the original Royal Star & Garter Home for veteran until 2016.
The Museum also has a selection of short films where you can hear local residents talking about their experience during the Second World War.
